Kindling is a five piece band from East Hampton, MA who formed in late 2013, from the looks of things. Kindling play a dreamy and fuzzed out style of music that incorporates elements of indie rock, grunge, and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Kindling can be loosely compared to bands such as Nothing, Wild Honey, Alter, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Kindling have released a nine song LP titled Spare Room in February of 2014, a four song 7" titled Spike & Wave in July of 2014, a digital single titled Vs. The Police in August of 2015, and a four song 12" titled Galaxies in November of 2015. Everywhere Else is the band's latest twelve song LP, which was released via No Idea records on August 12th, 2016. On Everywhere Else, Kindling offer up twelve songs of dreamy and atmospheric indie rock, grunge, and shoegaze. Overall, Everywhere Else makes for a great listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
