Tempest is a five piece band from Vancouver, British Columbia who formed in early 2009. Tempest play a dark, metallic, and brutal as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Tempest cite One Eyed God Prophecy,Union Of Uranus, His Hero Is Gone, Burial Year, Buried Inside, Tragedy, and Converge as influences, which definitely shows in the band's sound and style. Since their inception in 2009, Tempest have released a two song 7" titled Haemmorhage in May of 2014, an eight song LP titled Passages in August of 2014, and a two song 7" titled Solace in April of 2012. This is Tempest's latest full-length, which also serves as the band's latest recorded output in over three years. On their latest full-length LP, Tempest offer up eight tracks of brutal and chaotic as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and sludge.
