Suis La Lune are a four piece band from Stockholm/Gothenburg, Sweden who
formed in 2006. Suis La Lune play an intense, passionate, dark,
abrasive, and melodic style of music that incorporates elements of post
hardcore, screamo, post rock, and indie rock within their sound.
Musically, Suis La Lune can be loosely compared to bands such as La
Quiete, Raein, Daitro, and The Saddest Landscape. Suis La Lune's
discography includes a five song demo released in 2005, a two song
self-titled 7", released in 2005, a song on the emo apocalypse, which
was released in 2006, a ten song LP titled Quiet, Pull The Strings!,
which was released in 2006, a four song EP titled Heir released in 2008,
two songs on the Connections: Part II LP released in 2010, a split 7"
with Oseceola released in 2009, a two song US tour CD released in 2010, a ten song LP titled Riala released in 2012, and a four song 12" titled Distance/Closure in July of 2015. On their side of the split Suis La Lune offer up four tracks of tense, atmospheric, and brilliantly executed post hardcore, punk, screamo, emo, and indie rock. Next up on the split is Shizune. Shizune is a five piece hardcore, punk, and screamo band from Lonigo,
Vicenza, Italy who formed in 2012. Shizune play a classic sounding
style of screamo tinged hardcore influenced by bands such as Funeral
Diner, The Saddest Landscape, La Quiete, and Raein. Shizune's sound is
tense, angular, discordant, and volatile as fuck. On their side of the split, Shizune offer up five tracks of volatile and chaotic post hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, this is an amazing split and should not be missed. This split was released via Dogs Knight Productions on July 11th, 2016.
