Here's a killer split featuring new material from Moline, Il's National Hero and Denver, Co's A Light Among. National Hero is a two piece band based out of Illinois who formed in late 2014, from the looks of things. National Hero play a blown out and completely unhinged style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and powerviolence within their sound. On their side of the split, National Hero offer up six tracks of abrasive, raw, and ugly hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. The last song on the split comes courtesy of A Light Among. A Light Among Many is a Colorado based band who formed in the spring of 2015, from the looks of things. A Light Among Many play a harsh, abrasive, and unsettling style of experimental, drone, and noise. Their contribution to the split is a six minute track of dark, atmospheric, and harsh sounding experimental noise. Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed. Great stuff. I also included three more National Hero releases for you to check out as well. Enjoy!
