Crowhurst is a musical project from Los Angeles, CA that features members of Caïna and Aevangelist. Forming in 2011, Crowhurst play a dark, ominous, and oppressive style of music that incorporates elements of industrial, doom, sludge, black metal, and noise within their sound. Musically, Crowhurst can be said to be influenced by bands such as Neurosis, Swans, Ministry, and the more experimental side of The Body. Black Funeral Atmospherics is the band's latest five song LP, which was released on November 8th, 2016.
