Here's a killer split EP featuring new material from Montreal, Quebec's The Great Sabbatini and Toronto, Ontario's Godstopper. The Great Sabbatini is a four piece band from Monthreal, Quebec who formed in 2008. The Great Sabbatini play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and sludge within their sound. Musically, The Great Sabbatini can be loosely compared to bands such as Fight Amp, Melvins, Whores, and Bardus. On their side of the split, The Great Sabbatini offer up four tracks of noise damaged hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock. The last two songs on the split come courtesy of Godstopper. Godstopper is a four piece band from Toronto, Ontario who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Godstopper play a dark and sludgey style of noise tinged punk. Musically, Godstopper can be loosely compared to bands such as Big Business, Melvins, Pigs, and early Torche. On their side of the split, Godstopper offer up two tracks of loud as fuck punk, noise rock, and sludge. Overall, this split is an an absolute must listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy! This split was released via No List records on August 19th, 2016.
