Mouth Of The Architect is a six piece band from Dayton, Ohio who formed in 2003. Mouth Of The Architect play a progressive and forward-thinking style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, post hardcore, and post rock within their sound. Musically, Mouth Of The Architect can be loosely compared to bands such as Cave-In, Isis, Cult Of Luna, Inter Arma, Intronaut, Russian Circles, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2003, Mouth Of The Architect have released a four song LP titled Time And Withering in March of 2006, a six song LP titled The Ties That Blind in August of 2006, an eight song LP titled Quietly in July of 2008, a four song LP titled The Violence Beneath in April of 2010, and a six song LP titled Dawning in June of 2013. Path Of Eight is the band's latest full-length LP, which is slated for release via Translation Loss records on October 8th, 2016. On Path Of Eight, Mouth Of The Architect offer up eight tracks of atmospheric and progressive sounding post metal, post hardcore, and post rock.
