Here's a killer split that I absolutely had to review after hearing. Lora is a Moscow, Russia based band who formed in 2016. Lora play a chaotic and volatile as fuck style of music that incoporates elements of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound. Musically, Lora can be loosely compared to bands such as Orchid, Jerome's Dream, Ampere, and Swing Kids. On their side of the split, Lora offer up three tracks of absolutely brutal hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence. The last song on the split comes courtesy of The Ultimate Screamo Band. The Ultimate Screamo Band is a one piece band from Montreal, Canada who
got his start in December of 2014. The Ultimate Screamo band features
Guillaume Archambault, who does all instrumentation for this killer
musical endeavor. Musically, The Ultimate Screamo band can be said to
be influenced by bands such as Orchid, Republic Of Dreams, Jerome's
Dream, Saetia, Resurrectionists, and other like-minded bands. On this release, The Ultimate Screamo offer up one track of vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence. Overall, this is a killer split and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! Look for physical copies of this 7" sometime in early 2016.
