Die Young is a five piece band from Houston, Texas who formed in 2002. Die Young play a brutal style of metallic hardcore. Musically, Die Young cite Catharsis, Trial, Earth Crisis, Sick Of It All, Madball, Tragedy,
Integrity, Ringworm, Buried Alive, Indecision, Converge, Joseph
Campbell, Erich Fromm, and Friedrich Nietzsche as influences. Die Young can be loosely compared to bands such as Rise And Fall, Killing The Dream, Integrity, Axis, and Blistered. Since forming in 2002, Die Young have released a four song EP titled Songs For The Converted in May of 2003, a six song EP titled Confessions Of A Petty Thief in November of 2003, a four song EP titled The Message in May of 2004, a seven song EP titled Survival Instinct in June of 2005, a split 7" with Generations in November of 2005, a split 7" with Invade in January of 2007, a 15 track full length LP titled Graven Images in March of 2007, a four song EP titled Loss in June of 2008, a split 7" with Confronto in April of 2014, and a six song EP titled Chosen Path in April of 2014. No Illusions is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Good Fight Music on August 26th, 2016. On No Illusions, Die Young offer up sixteen tracks of brutal metallic hardcore.
