Bleak is a four piece band from Syracuse, NY who formed in early 2014, from the looks of things.  Bleak play a caustic, harsh, and brutal as fuck sounding style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, death metal, noise rock and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Bleak can be loosely compared to bands such as Vein, Baptists, Trap Them, and Globe And Beast.  Since forming in 2014, Bleak have released a five song self-titled EP in September of 2014, a split with Sovereign in February of 2015, a two song cassette titled Songs For Cowards in January of 2016, a split with Hexist in January of 2016, a full-length LP titled We Deserve Our Failures in August of 2015, and a split 7" with Dialysis in May of 2016.  No Light, No Tunnel is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Hex Records on July 8th, 2016.  On No Light, No Tunnel, Bleak offer up ten new tracks of scathing and volatile sounding hardcore, punk, death metal, sludge, and noise rock.  Overall, No Light, No Tunnel is a killer LP and Bleak is an absolute must listen for fans of Trenchfoot, Old Lines, an other like-minded bands.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
