Mystery Blood is a three piece band from Wichita, Kansas who formed in 2015, from the sounds of things. Mystery Blood play a really interesting style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, punk, noise rock, and death rock within their sound. Musically, Mystery Blood remind me of a mixture of Broken Water, The Ukiah Drag, and Destruction Unit, and Dark Blue. This combination in sounds results in a tense, dark, moody, and claustrophobic sound. High On Blood is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via This Ain't Heaven Recording Concern and Woody Records on July 5th, 2016. On High On Blood, Mystery Blood offer up seven tracks of dark, moody, and ominous sounding shoegaze, punk, noise rock, and death rock. Overall, High On Death is a killer LP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
