Anion is a four piece band from Vancouver, British Columbia who formed in early 2010. Anion play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noisecore within their sound. Musically, Anion can be said to be influenced by bands such as Breather Resist, Botch, Engineer, Playing Enemy, and Botch. Since forming in 2010, Anion have released a four song EP titled Corpseflower in March of 2010, a four song 7" titled Carrion King in July of 2010, a three song EP titled Manolete, and most recently, a four song 7" titled Fractions Of Failure in May of 2016. Without Solace is the band's first full-length LP, which was released via No List records on September 17th, 2013. On Without Solace, Anion offer up eight tracks of vicious as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, sludge, and noisecore. Overall, Without Solace is a killer LP and Anion is an absolute must listen for fans of Reproacher, Divider, Bone Dance, and Moutheater. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
