Black Pestilence is a three piece band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada who formed in 2008. Black Pestilence play a vicious, raw, and brutal as fuck style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, punk, oi, crust, and thrash within their sound. Musically, Black Pestilence can best be described as a mixture of Poison Idea mixed with Motorhead with some black metal/crust influences thrown in for good measure. Since their formation in 2008, Black Pestilence have released an eight song LP titled Vice in April of 2009, a nine song LP titled Tradition Is Obsolete in October of 2011, an eight song LP titled In Defiance in Ferbruary of 2013, a two song 12" titled Cyber Disarray in May of 2014, and an eight song LP titled Outsiders in April of 2015. Carry On The Black Flame is the band's latest four song EP, which was released on April 22nd, 2016. On Carry The Black Flame, Black Pestilence offer up four tracks of killer black metal, punk, crust, and thrash. Overall, Carry On The Black is a killer EP and should not be missed.
