Klam is a four piece band from Italy who formed in 2012. Klam play a
killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk and
shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Klam can be said to be
influenced by bands such as Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division,
Swervedriver, and other like-minded shoegaze/post punk bands from the
80's and 90's. Since their inception in 2012, Klam have released a
self-titled demo cassette in February of 2013, a second self-titled demo
in May of 2014, a nine song LP titled Bleak in October of 2014, and a six song EP titled
Canciones De Otras Bandas (Songs Of Other Bands) in January of 2016. The Concrete Vagina is the band's latest five song cassette, which was released via Land Animal Tapes on March 8th, 2016. On The Concrete Vagina, Klam offer up five tracks of dark, atmospheric, and cold sounding post punk and shoegaze. Overall, The Concrete Vagina is a killer cassette and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy! Physical copies of the cassette also include the six songs from Canciones De Otras Bandas, so going on that alone, you should definitely pick up a physical copy of the cassette!
