Black Bolt is a four piece band from Boise, Idaho who formed in June of 2011. Black Bolt play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, garage rock, grunge, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Black Bolt can be said to be influenced by bands such as As Friends Rust, Hot Water Music, Leatherface, Jawbreaker, Young Livers, and other like-minded bands. Since their inception in 2011, Black Bolt have released a seven song LP titled Falls in June of 2012, and a four song EP titled MBD&B/Like The Bear in July of 2013. Comfort Of The Grave is the band's latest five song EP, which was released on February 11th, 2016. On Comfort Of The Grave, Black Bolt offer up five tracks of slightly melodic punk, garage rock, grunge, and indie rock. Overall, Comfort Of The Grave is a solid EP and Black Bolt is a must listen for fans of melodic punk rock. Great stuff. Enjoy!
