MTN ISL is a four piece band from Atlanta, Georgia who formed in early 2013. MTN ISL play a tense, off-kilter, and hard to describe style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, noise rock, and math rock within their sound. Musically, MTN ISL can be loosely compared to bands such as Wow , Owls!, Stop It!, Sweep The Leg Johnny, 1994!, and Tiny Hawks. Since their inception in 2013, MTN ISL have released a six song EP titled Gid Become Animal in December of 2013, and a split 7" with Bodyfather in June of 2014. This is MTN ISL's debut full-length LP, which was released via Muckman records on December 18th, 2015. On their debut full-length LP, MTN ISL, offer up eleven tracks of tense, off-kilter, and dirty sounding punk, post punk, noise rock, and math rock. Overall, MTN ISL have absolutely nailed it on their debut full-length LP. Seriously, this is probably one of the best albums I've heard all week. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
