Klam is a four piece band from Italy who formed in 2012. Klam play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post punk and shoegaze within their sound. Musically, Klam can be said to be influenced by bands such as Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division, Swervedriver, and other like-minded shoegaze/post punk bands from the 80's and 90's. Since their inception in 2012, Klam have released a self-titled demo cassette in February of 2013, a second self-titled demo in May of 2014, and a nine song LP titled Bleak in October of 2014. Canciones De Otras Bandas (Songs Of Other Bands) is Klam's latest six song EP, which features six covers of songs from bands/artists that include Bob Dylan, The Garden, The Ramones, Ride, The Vandals, and Will Oldham. Overall, Canciones De Otras Bandas is an interesting take on a covers EP, featuring completely deconstructed versions of the original songs featured on the EP, which makes for a great listen. Overall, Canciones De Otras Bandas is a killer EP and should not be missed. Highly recommended for fans of modern post punk and shoegaze. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
