Carrion Spring is a six piece band from Portland, Oregon who formed in 2008. Carrion Spring play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Carrion Spring can be said to be influenced by bands such as Saetia, You And I, Funeral Diner, and Daitro. Since their inception in 2008, Carrion Spring have released a fifteen song LP, titled A Short History Of Decay in 2012, appeared on the Epilogue Of A Car Crash Orchid tribute LP in 2013, released a second LP titled Indiscretions/Vol. I in July of 2013, a split cassette with The Sky Above And Earth Below in 2014, and a split LP with Sed Non Satiata in 2014. This is the reissue of A Short History Of Decay, which was originally released back in May of 2012. On A Short History Of Decay, Carrion Spring offer up fifteen tracks of dark and chaotic sounding post hardcore, punk, emo, and screamo. Do yourself a favor and give this album a listen if you haven't done so before. It's incredible. I couldn't find much about who's doing the reissue, but I'll provide an update as soon as I have more information.
