Axe Giant is a four piece band from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia who formed in early 2014. Axe Giant play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of psychedelic doom metal, stoner rock, and sludge within their sound. As far as influences go, I pick up hints of Black Sabbath, Slabdragger, Ancient Sky, Dead Meadow, and other like-minded bands. Skull Divorce is Axe Giant's latest two song EP, which was released on December 27rth, 2015. On Skull Divorce, Axe Giant offer up two tracks of dirty and sludge heavy doom metal and stoner rock that's an absolute must listen for fans of unabashed metal. Overall, Skull Divorce is a killer EP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
