Ravin is a four piece band from Perpignan, France who formed in late 2013, from the looks of things. Ravin play a blackened and metallic style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore and screamo within their sound. Musically, Ravin can be said to be influenced by bands such as La Quiete, Daitro, Sed Non Satiata, and Raein. Since their inception in 2013, Ravin have released a self-titled ten song EP in February of 2014. II is Ravin's latest eight song LP, which was released via Zegema Beach, Sad Panda, Winter Sea, and Unlock Yourself records on April 13th, 2015. On II, Ravin offer up eight tracks of discordant, tense, and urgent sounding post hardcore and screamo. Overall, II is a killer album that's an absolute must listen for fans of Carrion Spring and Coma Regalia. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
