Volunteer is a four piece band from Milwaukee, WI who formed in 2012. Volunteer play a blown out and dirty style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Volunteer can be said to be influenced by bands such as Unsane, The Melvins, Young Widows, Helmet, Jesus Lizard, Kiss it Goodbye, and Deadguy. Since their inception in 2012, Volunteer have released a self-titled six song EP in October of 2013. Goner is the band's latest four song 10", which was released via Forge Again Records on October14th, 2014. On Goner, Volunteer offer up four tracks of dirty and blown out sounding hardcore, punk, and noise rock that's an absolute must listen for fans of T Tops, Kowloon Walled City, Tigon, and Ladder Devils. Overall, Goner is a killer EP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
