Late Bloomer is a three piece band from Charlotte, North Carolina who formed in 2012. Late Bloomer play a killer style of punk, grunge, and 90's influenced indie/alt. rock. Musically, Late Bloomer can be said to be influenced by bands such as Husker Du, Knapsack, Jawbreaker, Dinosaur Jr. and can be compared to more modern bands such as Old Growth, Big Eyes, California X, and Sneeze. Since their inception in 2012, Late Bloomer have released a four song demo in March of 2012, a ten song self-titled LP in May of 2013, and a split 7" with Old Flings in October of 2013. Things Change is Late Bloomer's latest full-length LP, which was released via Tor Johnson records on July 1st, 2014. On Things Change, Late Bloomer offer up nine tracks of energetic and catchy as hell sounding punk, grunge, and indie rock. Overall, Things Change is a killer LP that should not be missed.
