Endless Swarm is a four piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. Endless Swarm play a blistering as fuck and completely unhinged style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound. Musically, Endless Swarm can be said to be influenced by bands such as Pig Destroyer, Spazz, Left For Dead, The Swarm, and other like-minded bands. Since their formation in 2013, Endless Swarm have released a nine song cassette titled Mindkiller in September of 2013, a eleven song cassette titled Lobotomy in October of 2014, a split cassette with Brainshit in March of 2015, contributed a track to Spazzin' To The Oldies tribute to Spazz in June of 2015, and a soon to be released live split cassette with Brainshit in June of 2015. Pointless Existence is the band's latest fourteen track 7", which was released on September 15th, 2015 and will be available in physical format soon via Mind Ripper Collective, Attention Deficit Grindcore Disorder, and Rad Nauseam Records. On Pointless Existence, Endless Swarm tear their way through fourteen tracks in a little over nine minutes, so going on that alone, you know you're about to get your ass handed to you in a major way. The title track Pointless Existence features guest vocals from Weekend Nachos' John Hoffman. Overall, Pointless Existence absolutely shreds and should not be missed. Enjoy!
