Damn, this album totally flew under my label and didn't know got released until Adam posted it in his last bandcamp roundup. DSGNS is a band I've been following when they requested a review back when I was writing for Elementary Revolt and Manic Compression. DSGNS is a five piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in late 2011. DSGNS play a caustic, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding style of metallic hardcore. Musically, DSGNS can be said to be influenced by bands such as Some Girls, Jesuit, Torn Apart, Drowning Man, and other like-minded bands. Since their inception in 2011, DSGNS have released a four song EP titled WSTLND in January of 2012, a four song EP titled LXCN in January of 2012, a split with Uglytwin in February of 2013, and a two song EP titled Sexed And Bloated in February of 2015. Hexes is DSGNS' debut full-length LP, which was released via Pluto records on August 28th, 2015. On Hexes, DSGNS offer up twelve tracks of scathing, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding noise-tinged metallic hardcore. Overall, Hexes is a killer LP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
