Kerosene is a three piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in late 2014, from the looks of things. Kerosene play an absolutely mind blowing style of music that incorporates elements of punk, post punk, and noise rock within their sound. The best way for me to describe Kerosene's sound is to have you picture what it would be like to mix bands such as Q And Not U with the garage and post hardcore stylings of bands such as Hot Snakes or Drive Like Jehu. Top that mixture off with an ungodly amount of guitar feedback and you're left with a really tense and frenetic sound that I really can't do justice to with describing in words. This is Kerosene's debut four track EP, which was released via End Result Productions on January 18th, 2015. Overall, Kerosene's debut EP is incredible and demands to be played at high volumes. Seriously, this EP is that good. I really wished more bands played this style of music.
