Walleater is a five piece band from Leeds, United Kingdom who formed in 2013. Walleater play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of shoegaze, indie rock, and grunge within their sound. Musically, Walleater can be loosely compared to bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Cloakroom, and Whirr. Since their inception in 2013, Walleater have released two EPs titled I and II. This album collects both EPs onto a single album and was released via Tiny Engines records on June 22nd, 2015. Both EPs were originally released back in 2014 on Close To Home records. To be honest, I had never heard Walleater before this album and had no idea of what to expect. On I/II Walleater offer up eight tracks of dark, hazy, and slightly melodic shoegaze and indie rock. Overall, I/II is a killer album and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
