Damn, It's shaping up to be a really busy year for CA's Keeper. Keeper have released two albums and are gearing up to release a third split cassette with Old Witch on July 25th, so basically, I'm playing catch up today as far as the band is concerned. Keeper are a four piece band from California who formed in June of 2014. Keeper dropped a killer four song demo titled MMXIV
back July of 2014 that absolutely made my jaw drop when I reviewed it
on Manic Compression and Elementary Revolt back in 2014. Keeper play a
dark, visceral, and brutal as fuck sounding style of music that
incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, death metal, doom, and
sludge within their sound. Musically, Keeper can be loosely compared to
bands such as Mutilation Rites, Ilsa, Hexis, and Thou. The Space Between Your Teeth is the band's latest two song 12", which was released via Crown And Throne Ltd. on April 1st, 2015. On The Space Between Your Teeth, Keeper offer up two new tracks of killer hardcore, punk, sludge, death metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, The Space Between Your Teeth is brutal as fuck and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
