Politess is a five piece band from Drummondville, Quebec who formed in 2012, from the looks of things. Politess play a scathing and unhinged style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and grindcore within their sound. Politess' sound can be said to be described as being influenced by bands on the 31G records roster such as Locust or Retox if those bands were filtered through the hardcore/screamo/grindcore sounds of bands such as Orchid, Iron Lung, or Jerome's Dream. These combinations of sound and styles makes for a forward-thinking and difficult to describe style of music. This is Politess' latest LP, which was released via Beaver Club, Blind Eye, and GBS records on May 4th, 2015. On their latest LP, Politess offer up thirteen tracks of brutal as fuck, scathing, and completely unhinged hardcore, punk, screamo, and grindcore.
