Northern Wind is a three piece band from west-central Pawho formed in 2014. Northern Wind play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post rock, and shoegaze within their sound. Northern Wind cite Hum, My Bloody Valentine, Defeater, Citizen, and Caspian as influences, which definitely shows up in the band's sound and style. This is the band's latest six song EP, which was self-released by the band on June 2nd, 2015. On their latest EP, Northern Wind offer up six tracks of well played post hardcore mixed with post rock and shoegaze. Overall, this is a killer EP and Northern Wind is an absolute must listen for fans of Octaves, Caravels, and old Pianos Become The Teeth. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
