Halshug are a three piece band from Copenhagen, Denmark who formed in 2013. Halshug translates into Behead in English, so going on that alone, you know your in for a truly brutal sounding band from the start. Halshug play a blistering, caustic, and ultra negative style of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Musically, Halshug can be loosely compared to bands such as Martyr Dod, Oliterations, Impalers, and other like-minded bands. Bodets Band is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on February 25th, 2015. On their debut full-length, Halshug offer up ten tracks of brilliantly executed hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. With the entire album clocking in at about 17 minutes, you know this album is devastating and brutal as fuck. Overall, Bodets Band is a phenomenal album and should not be missed. Highly recommended!
