Absolut is a band based out of Toronto, Ontario who formed in January of 2013. Abolut play a devastatingly brutal style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat within their sound. Musically, Absolut can be loosely compared to bands such as Vaaska, Oiltanker, Symptom, and No Power. Since their 2013, Absolut have released a six song demo in January of 2013, a nine song LP titled Punk Survival in January of 2014, and a split 7" with Sweden's Paranoid in January of 2015. Hell's Highest Power is Absolut's latest full-length LP, which is going to be released via D-Tact & Rapunk Records in July, from the looks of things. On Hell's Highest Power, Absolut offer up thirteen tracks of devastating, scathing, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, crust, and d-beat. Overall, Hell's Highest Power is an amazing album and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
