Gordon's Tsunami Week is a seven piece band from München, Germany who formed in 2001. Gordon's Tsunami Week play a atmospheric, dark, and haunting style of music that incorporates elements of post metal and instrumental post rock within their sound. Musically, Gordon's Tsunami Week can be said to be influenced by bands such as Mono, Explosions In The Sky, and Goodspeed! You Black Emperor. Since their inception in 2010, Gordon's Tsunami Week have released a nine song LP titled We See The Reflection Of Ourselves In The Frames We Look At in April of 2011. The Farewell Paradox is the band's latest five song LP, which was released via Through Love records on May 1st, 2015. On their latest LP, Gordon's Tsunami Week offer up five tracks of darkly atmospheric sounding post metal and post rock. Overall, The Farewell Paradox is a killer album and should not be missed.
