Capacities are a four piece band from New Jersey who existed from 2012-2014. Capacities featured members of You And I, Saetia, In First Person, Black Lites, Less Life, and The Saddest Landscape. Since their inception in 2012, Capacities released a split 7" with Coma Regalia in July of 2012, twelve song LP titled The Unexamined Life on How Soon Is Now and Protagonist music in July of 2012, a nine song 10" titled There Is No Neutral on Melotov Records/Dog Knights Productions in April of 2013, a split LP with Itto, Innards, and Calculator titled The Sound Of Young America in July of 2014, and a 30 song compilation cd titled Year One in August of 2014. This is Capacities' last full-length LP, which was released via Hydrogen Man, Middle-Man, and Square Of Opposition records on September 12th, 2014. On their final LP, Capacities tear their way through thirteen songs in about seventeen minutes, leaving us with a truly amazing album that's chock full of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence goodness that's an absolute must listen for fans of Resurrectionists, Orchid, and Ampere.
