Meth Drinker is a hardcore, punk, and sludge band from Willington, New Zealand who formed in 2011. Meth Drinker play a mid-tempo, yet scathing and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, and doom. Musically, Meth Drinker can be compared to bands such as Bottom Feeders, Reproacher, and Altar Of Plagues. Since their inception in 2011, Meth Drinker have several releases under their belts including a self-titled LP released in 2011, a split 12" with Open Tomb in 2012, a split 12" with Moloch in May of 2013, and a self-titled 7" in May of 2013. Oil is Meth Drinker's debut nine song full-length LP. Oil was released via Raw Birth record on November 1st, 2014. On their debut full-length, Meth Drinker offer up nine tracks of bone crushing mid-paced tracks of hardcore, punk, and sludge. Overall, Oil is a killer LP and should not be missed.
